Stephanie Acosta*

Director, Adapter

Stephanie M. Acosta is a theatre director, a visual artist, and a founding member of The Anatomy Collective. Stephanie received her Bachelors in Directing from the Webster University Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis, Missouri where her strong interest in translation and adaptation of found texts was the driving force behind many of her projects including her adaptation and direction of The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, her translation of Federico Garcia Lorca's Blood Wedding, and her direction of a new compiled version of Georg Büchner's Woyzeck. Stephanie worked at the Goodman Theatre as the Assistant Director on the world premier of Mariela in the Dessert. Stephanie also has the joy of creating metal work installation art and directing three short pieces by Taavo Smith for MANY THINGS ARE DESTROYING ME.

Molly Feingold

Movement Director

Molly Feingold is a 2003 graduate of The International School of Physical Theatre Jacques Lecoq in Paris France and a 2001 graduate of The North Carolina School of the Arts in Directing. She is a founding member and artistic director and performer for the international theatre group TheatreRun. Her work with the company includes the creation and performance of two full-length productions: Horror Vacui (performed at the New York International Fringe Festival in 2003, the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in 2004 and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2004) and Russian Doll (commissioned in 2004 by Seattle based Arts Space Consolidated Works and performed at the 2005 Piccolo Spoleto Festival). Molly's regional theatre credits include: Movement Director for Big Love (Experimental Theatre Chicago), Common Intellect (Around the Coyote Festival), and The Geranium on the Window Sill Just Died (Urban Stages NYC, Geranium Theatre), The Amazing Adventures of Anna Marie ( Open Dream Ensemble, Repatory Company for the North Carolina School of the Arts) .

Christine Ferriter*

Set & Lights, Production Manager

Christine Ferriter has been working in theatre for almost ten years. For the past two, she has been working professionally in Chicago as a lighting designer, technician, and company member of The Anatomy Collective. She has designed the lighting for Book of Days, A Few Good Men, and Dancing at Lughnasa at Raven Theatre, The Wild Party and Art with the Bohemian Theatre Ensemble, Henry IV, Part I for Stockyards Theatre Project, and Many Things Are Destroying Me with The Anatomy Collective. In addition, she has also designed the set and lighting for A Streetcar Named Desire at Village Player Theatre, and The Prometheus Myth with The Anatomy Collective. Christine is the Master Electrician for Congo Square Theatre Company, and has worked as a technician with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, AMEBA Acrobatic and Aerial Dance, Writer's Theatre, and greasy joan & co. Currently, she is in Charleston, South Carolina, designing the lighting for Circus Flora's performances of Homage at the Spoleto Arts Festival. Christine graduated from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University with a BFA in Lighting Design in 2004.

Rory Murphy

Sound

Rory Murphy is a sound designer and engineer. He lives in Chicago and works there, too. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 2005 with a BFA in Sound Design and Technology. Recent designs he might admit to include: Contents May Be Extremely Hot for Phalanx, If you Give a Mouse A Cookie for Emerald City, and The Monkey House for SpringLoaded.

Poppy Coleman

Costumes

Poppy Coleman learned sewing and needlecraft from her mother and grandmother, Yugoslav immigrants with fabulous style and terrible taste. She has worked in a number of fields since moving to Chicago in 2003 including film and television production, a leather goods sweatshop, data entry, and teen counseling. She is currently a secretary. This is her first effort as a costume designer.

Shannon Korchinski

Puppets (assistant)

Shannon Korchinski is a puppet that learned she had strings two years ago. Under the guise of Non Chinski she went under the wing of the Rubbermonkey Puppet Company to learn the complexities of movement and invention in puppetry. From there she flew off to become the director of Twisted Endeavor, a shadow puppet troupe that knows no boundries. Shannon also animates, and makes handmade jewelry, instruments, sculptures, paintings; and is a wiz at teaching.

Katey Lawton

Stage Manager, Properties, Costumes (assistant)

Katey Lawton accepted her first position as a stage manager at the tender age of 6 in her kindergarten production of Seven Brothers and the Flying Ship. Since then she has explored many other positions in technical theatre including set and lighting design. She is pleased to make her Chicago debut with The Anatomy Collective and will begin an internship at the Steppenwolf Theatre this summer. Come see her fantastic set designs at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 2017.

Meghann Tabor

Stage Manager (assistant)

Meghann Tabor moved to Chicago last September after graduating with a degree in Film, Television and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame. She is delighted to be involved with her first Chicago production as well as her first time dabbling into the world of stage management. In addition, Meghann can occassionally be seen around local schools playing Juliet for Chicspeare Production Company's educational programs. She would like to thank the rest of her fabulous crew and talented cast, as well as her friends and family for putting up with her oddball antics.

Brian Adoff

Brian Adoff graduated with a degree in Business Finance and a minor in ceramics from Rutgers University in beautiful Camden, NJ. He currently works in the corporate accounting department for Draft Marketing Company. When not working full-time in accounts receivable, Brian pursues his true passion of "triple-threating," and has managed to rack up an impressive amount of credits on the community theatre stage. Favorite roles include Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, and Matt in The Fantasticks. Brian wants to thank his family and friends for their undying support, and to his wonderful cast for a "time we'll never forget!"

Daniel Bakken

Daniel Bakken fell on Chicago two years ago. Since then he has had the pleasure of acting with such theatre companies as Moving Dock, Clock Productions, A Reasonable Facsimile, Experimental Theatre Chicago, Another Chicago Theatre, T. Daniels Productions, and others. He has trained and performed at The Moscow Art Theatre, Northern Illinois Univeristy, and Interlochen Arts Academy.

Heather Boas

Heather Boas is very excited to be working on her first show since moving to Chicago in September. Last year in Boston, Heather appeared in W;t, La Cage aux Folles, and Pride's Crossing. Earlier this year she performed at Navy Pier as various characters. Heather has a degree in Theatre Studies from Wellesley College and studied for a year at the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City. Currently she works at Chicago Children's Museum. She would like to thank a wonderful cast and crew for making this possible, and a very special thank you and love to John.

Kiki Bowman

Kyra Bowman graduated from Macalester College in 2004 with a degree in Theater. After graduation, she spent some time working abroad and on the east coast before settling in Chicago last fall. She worked with The Anatomy Collective as an ensemble member in Many Things are Destroying Me, and was also seen at Stage Left in So This One Time.... She is excited to be working with The Anatomy Collective on another project.

Lily Emerson

Lily Emerson is in love with a lot of beautiful things, and The Anatomy Collective and The Prometheus Myth are no exception. Among the other objects of her affection are her amazing friends, her ridiculously cool mom, Charles Mee, Augusto Boal, the world of physical theatre, and, of course, the lovely city of Chicago.

Meredith Glidden

Io

Meredith Glidden has been performing and teaching in Chicago since moving here two years ago from Kansas City. She currently teaches movement, performance and improvisation classes for Lookingglass Theatre Company and Congo Square Theatre. Meredith is excited to be working with The Anatomy Collective and would like to thank her family and friends for their ongoing support in her following her dream of life without company-paid health insurance.

Amanda Link

Amanda Link is happy to be working with The Anatomy Collective again after being part of both incarnations of Many Things Are Destroying Me. In Chicago, Amanda has also worked with The Mill (formerly Experimental Theatre Chicago), Sandbox Theatre Project, and Theatre-Hikes. She recently appeared in Maui at both Donny's Skybox and Chicago Sketch Fest. She is currently studying in the Second City Conservatory.

Sheila Regan

Prometheus

Sheila Regan has been living in Chicago for almost three years, and has worked with Experimental Theatre Chicago (now The Mill), GroundUp, Redmoon, The Mammals, Tantalus and others.  This is her first time working with Anatomy Collective.  She has an MFA from Indiana University in acting.

Matt Rossi

Chorus

Despite the fact that he isn't really an actor, Matt Rossi has managed to maintain a healthy theatre life in Chicago. Last year, Matt appeared in Midsummer Night's Dream, Ragnarok, and The Pizza Box Project. He is a founding member of Tantalus Theatre Group and has written, created, and acted in several shows with them. He thanks the Anatomy Collective for including him in this process. Following this, he is working on The Strange Dreams of Nobody in Particular, which opens in June.

Lara Shortridge

Lara Shortridge has been proud to work with The Anatomy Collective in the past on Many Things Are Destroying Me, parts I & II. She recieved her BFA in acting from Millikin University, and has been seen in Chicago with The Mill (formerly Experimental Theatre Chicago), Bailiwick, Theatre Building Chicago, and Nucleus Dance Collective. She will be directing and co-producting Lucid Theatre Group's inaugural production of Agamemnon in August.

Taavo Smith*

A native of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Taavo Smith earned his B.A. at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Outside of The Anatomy Collective, his work as a director, actor and playwright have been seen in Boston with New Theatre; in the Twin Cities with Bad Comedy and No Refunds Theatre Co.; in Chicago with Experimental Theatre Chicago/The Mill; and in Melbourne with Concrete Cloud. Taavo is also a company member with Experimental Theatre Chicago/The Mill.

Ben Stuber*

Ben Stuber is an actor, dancer, and visual artist. He received his Bachelors in Theatre and Dance from Oberlin College and currently attends the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He has performed with various companies including Tangerine Arts Group and Tantalus Theatre, and has danced in pieces by Nicholas Leichter, José Limon, and Eiko and Koma. Alex Miles Younger*

Alex Miles Younger is an actor, director and performance studies enthusiast. He chalks up his experience to performing with Sprung movement theatre, Experimental Theatre Chicago/The Mill, Sandbox Theatre Project, and workshops with Plasticene and The Building Stage; as well as his B.F.A. from the Webster University Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Nerd hour, peanut butter and bicycle rides all make him very happy.
